David has served his community in various roles including serving as a certified first responder for over 16 years in the Mineola Fire Department, co-founding the Nassau Firefighters Lacrosse Club for first responder athletics and charity fundraising events, and a member of the MFD Drone Response Team to aid Incident Command decisions at emergency scenes across Nassau County.

Descendant of immmigrants, Grandson to WWII veterans, inspired by a relative who worked on the lunar module on Long Island, and surrounded by a community of first responders, David seeks to follow in the footsteps of many great predecessors. He is a member of the Mineola Historical Society and their Technology Officer.
